I’m CatLover — the person behind LitterBoxLab. I have two cats, Miso and his brother, who between them have destroyed three rugs, claimed most of the couch, and road-tested nearly every automatic litter box currently available.
The site started because I couldn’t find honest reviews. Most litter box review sites either recycle manufacturer specs or give five stars to everything with an affiliate link attached. I wanted something different — actual opinions from someone who’s lived with these products, noticed the annoying quirks, and has strong views on waste drawer design.
What We Test
Every product reviewed on LitterBoxLab has been researched thoroughly, and where possible tested directly. I focus on automatic litter boxes, cat hygiene products, and the accessories that actually affect daily life with cats — odor control, litter types, cleaning tools.
Miso has strong opinions about every box we’ve tried. His brother is slightly more diplomatic but equally opinionated about litter depth. I take both perspectives into account.
